Researchers Discover New Existence of Water
BOSTON - In addition to tangible steam, ice, and liquid, the possibility still exists that water to form 4. Being water has a temperature of minus 54 degrees Fahrenheit.
Liquids are usually frozen into ice at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, but in appropriate circumstances, for example in high pressure on the seabed, the water remains liquid although its temperature is lower than 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
It is possible to form 4 in the form of liquid water that has the character of the ice at the same time general character of the liquid. However, current laboratory equipment is not sensitive enough to observe changes in the normal liquid form to form into 4. Thus was launched by Discovery, Saturday (11/12/2011).
H. Eugene Stanley and Pradeep Kumar reported the findings in the Journal of Physical Chemistry. They used computer simulations to create models of liquid that is elusive. They found that at temperatures below 54 degrees Fahrenheit, changing the water structure similar to the structure of ice. While the changes in its structure continues, the water remains in liquid form.
Surprisingly, at this temperature the water more easily dissipate heat, the opposite of the properties of water and ice in general. This peculiar behavior of water that moves ideas and Kumar Stanley about the existence of a form into 4 water.
